How to Change Email or Password for Challenges

This article will explain how to update/change your username, email, or password.

The Challenges and Lose It! apps are both products owned by Fitnow, Inc. The two apps are separate and unique, but the account credentials are shared between both apps. 

Because of this, at this time, and changes made in the Challenges App will make the same changes in Lose It!, like updating your username and or email address.

By default, when your account is created, your username is displayed as the first portion of your email address (anything before the @).

Follow these steps below:

iOS
  1. Open the Challenges iPhone app
  2. Tap your photo (in the top-right corner) to get to the Profile screen
  3. Tap Account Information
  4. To update your email:
    1. Select the Email Address tab at the top of the screen
    2. Enter the new email and current password
    3. Select Change Email
  5. To update your password:
    1. Select the Password tab at the top of the screen
    2. Enter the new password and current password
    3. Hit Change Password

You'll encounter an error if the email you're trying to change it to is already in use.

Keep in mind: this will also change your Lose It! email and password. 

Android
  1. Open the Challenges iPhone app
  2. Tap your Profile (in the top-right corner)
  3. Select Account Information
  4. To update your email:
    1. Tap Update User Name
    2. Enter the new email and current password
    3. Hit Submit
  5. To update your password:
    1. Tap Update Password
    2. Enter the new password and current password
    3. Hit Submit

You'll encounter an error if the email you're trying to change it to is already in use.

Keep in mind: this will also change your Lose It! email and password.
