How to Fix an Incorrect Move Goal or Weight in Challenges

Can I set my Move goal? 

Your move goal in Challenges is not the same as your Watch Move goal. The Challenges Move goal is determined by your current weight in Lose It!. You cannot set your own move goal in a Challenge because your move goal defaults to be 2x your weight. This is to keep it fair among all participants.

The Challenge will set your move goal for you and you earn points based on that Move goal that the Challenges app has set for you. Because of this, we recommend setting your Watch goal to the same as Challenges for consistency.

How to Fix an Incorrect Move Goal

If your move goal is incorrect, it would be due to an inaccurate weight within Lose It!. 

To fix your move goal, please log on to loseit.com using your Challenges account.

  1. Click the Goals tab
  2. Click Weight
  3. Click Need to fix a weight? at the bottom of the graphmceclip0.png
  4. Use the back arrows to enter in your correct weight for the start date of the Challengemceclip1.png

This should update your move goal in Challenges.

What if my Move goal on my Apple Watch doesn't match Challenges?

If your Apple Watch Move goal does not match what's in Challenges, you will see a warning:

Tap on it to adjust your Move goal on your Apple Watch

  1. Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
  2. Swipe up, then tap Change Goals.
  3. Tap to increase or decrease the number of active calories for your daily Move goal, then tap Next.
  4. Tap Next for the Exercise goal
  5. Tap Next for the Stand goal
  6. Tap Ok

We recommend setting your Watch goal to the same as Challenges for consistency.
